SGS Students Highlighted in the Inland Northwest Land Conservancy

A group of dedicated SGS students showed enthusiasm and determination while helping to restore the Little Spokane River. They waded into the river, often fully submerged, to remove debris like old tires, all while enjoying the natural beauty around them—ducklings, herons, and swallows. Their commitment goes beyond one day, as they plan to return and mentor younger students in ongoing cleanup efforts. Their hard work exemplifies the community spirit and environmental stewardship needed to ensure the river’s future.
