The Aviator - Soar to Success

The Historic Flight Foundation’s hangar was the perfect setting for “The Aviator” Gala and Auction on Saturday evening, April 22nd. It was a great community-building event with over 220 parents, alumni, alumni parents, board members, and faculty and staff in attendance — many wearing 1920s bomber jackets or flapper dresses as they circulated around the vintage aircraft in the hall.

The event also highlighted the outstanding student experience at SGS and raised funds for the school’s exceptional programs.  View the special “Watch Us Soar” video of student and teacher interviews that premiered at the Gala.

A variety of live and silent auction items attracted competitive bids (including a cute black Lab puppy), and the Raise-a-Paddle and Heads or Tails game added to the evening’s excitement. See photo galleries of the Gala Costumes and of the Silent and Live Auctions.

This event raised dollars that enhance our students’ learning experiences and provide them with the skills they need to succeed in an ever-changing world by investing in academic programs, technology, and campus resources.

Thank you to everyone who helped make the event a big success!

We give to Saint George’s to honor the educators and staff that are such a huge part of the overall development and well-being of our two boys, and all children for that matter.  For us, it is a matter of showing appreciation back to a community that gives us so much.
