The first meeting for Saint George’s Esports team will be on Tuesday, September 6 immediately after school in Room 219. Practices begin that day, and the season runs until Championships in December before Winter Break. The team is open to 8th through 12th graders. Please reach out to Ross Miller at ross.miller@sgs.org with questions or if a student is interested but can’t attend on the 6th.
Esports had a very successful inaugural season last spring. Our small team of players developed their teamwork and leadership skills to make it to the semi-finals in Minecraft and Super Smash Bro.’s Ultimate. “We are excited to have students come out and choose which games we will play this year,” says Ross. The list to choose from includes Minecraft, Super Smash Bro.’s Ultimate, Rocket League, Valorant, and Chess. “Come connect with other students who share your interests and learn more about E-sports this fall.”
