Last week, the 6th grade embarked on an inspiring visit to Glen Tana, just a mile from SGS. They collaborated with a dedicated group working to revitalize the Little Spokane River natural area. With guidance from the Inland Northwest Land Conservancy, students learned about planting new life through plant propagation and the vital salmon that call the river home. They also contributed hands-on to efforts restoring native trees, helping to protect and preserve this precious ecosystem for future generations. Their efforts not only deepened their understanding of environmental stewardship but also showed how small actions can make a big difference in healing our planet.
