As the countdown to Camp Spalding begins—where fly-fishing will be one of the stars of the show—our 7th graders had a dry run on the Graduation Lawn. They worked out the kinks (and quite a few tangles) before trying their luck on the water next week. Remember, as Melanie, your fly-fishing guru, says, “The cast comes from the elbow, not the wrist.”
By the end of class, the tangle incidents had decreased, and the casts were much smoother. Can’t wait to see what you all catch at Camp Spalding! Have an amazing time, 7th graders!
