On Friday, April 11th the 3rd Graders went on a hike on the SGS trails with Melanie Mildrew and Denie Inman to learn how to use a GPS. As they hiked, students calculated elevation, speed, tracked our route, used the compass, and more, while also learning about some of the nature on campus.
This hike was a part of the unit Denie is currently doing on Geography.
