Fall Spirit Week in the Upper School is Sept. 19-23 with class competitions each day. Monday’s dress theme is “Adam Sandler” and lunchtime featured a Paper Airplane Competition. Tuesday will be “Anything But a Backpack” and a Class Relay. Wednesday’s theme is Twin Day and the classes will compete at “Hungry, Hungry Hippos”. Thursday wear is Jerseys and the US Courtyard will become a Human Foosball table. Then Friday’s theme is “BBQ Dad and Soccer Mom” with a Trivia contest at lunch.
The Homecoming Dance is Saturday, September 24 from 7 – 10pm in the Dragon’s Den below Metters Gym. Cost is $10, the theme is “Bright Lights, Big City”, and the Attending Guest Permission Form is required if anyone is bringing a non-SGS student as a date.
