Saint George’s School is proud to announce the hiring of TJ Moulton as the new head coach of the boys basketball program. Moulton becomes the ninth head coach in program history, continuing the strong tradition of Dragon basketball.
Coach Moulton has been an integral part of the program since 2016, serving as an assistant coach and helping guide the Dragons to 183 wins and six state-tournament appearances during his tenure. Over the years he has coached at every level of Saint George’s program—from 5th grade and C Squad to JV and varsity assistant. His deep understanding of the program, commitment to student-athletes, and passion for the game make him a natural fit to lead the team into its next chapter.
In addition to his role in basketball, Moulton has achieved remarkable success as Saint George’s head track coach, leading the program to six state championships over the past four seasons. His leadership and ability to develop athletes across multiple sports have made a lasting impact on the school community. In recognition of his accomplishments, he was named the 2025 Spokane Youth Sports Coach of the Year.
Outgoing head coach and athletic director Ryan Peplinski shared his enthusiasm for the hire, stating, “TJ has an excellent mind for the game, and he is an excellent relationship builder. He is a student of the game and does an incredible job preparing for opponents as well as developing players.”
Saint George’s is excited to see Coach Moulton build on the strong foundation of Dragon basketball and continue to inspire excellence both on and off the court.
