Travis Franklin, co-founder and current CEO of Spokane International Academy, will join the administration at Saint George’s School as Assistant Head of School for Advancement and Strategy for the 2023-24 school year.
“I have enjoyed visiting with Travis for the last 15 years, both as an educator and an innovator that I have come to know and respect,” said Jamie Tender, SGS Head of School. “I am excited to have him and his energy at Saint George’s as we prepare to celebrate our 70th year anniversary and build for a sustainable future.”
Franklin brings a wealth of school leadership, innovation, and industry knowledge to SGS. Since opening Spokane International Academy (SIA) in 2015, Franklin has overseen the charter school’s growth and purchase of a centralized campus location in north Spokane. In addition to CEO duties, he served as teacher and principal at SIA.
He will provide leadership for all Saint George’s fundraising, marketing, enrollment management and parent, alumni, and community engagement. “We are excited to have him join our team,” said Tender.
