SGS Summer Camps Explore the World!

Students at Saint George’s Summer Camps found fun ways to sample different cultures. One camp dove into the Chinese language and culture. See a Photo Gallery of them reading a children’s book out loud. They also played a card game (See Video) where the first student to shout out the Chinese translation of an English word gets to keep the card. Another camp went Around the World in Five Days to a different country each day. See a Photo Gallery of these Lower School students learning new words, making traditional foods like pasta, re-creating historical events, and enjoying treats. Then in early August, the Ready, Set, Go summer camp for incoming K-2 students featured favorite children’s literature. See a Photo Gallery of them developing their writing and reading skills, enjoying outdoor activities, and learning basic Spanish vocabulary.
