Saint George’s is hosting a second blood drive of the year on Wednesday, March 16 from 8:15am to 1:45pm in Metters Gym. Donations to local blood bank Vitalant are used for patients in need of surgery, cancer treatments, or blood transfusions from an injury. Our school blood drive is a large provider of blood for our community, and if we get 30 successful donations (like at last fall’s blood drive), then SGS will receive a $2,000 STEM grant! Go to this Vitalant Sign Up Link to schedule your donation. And read the letter from the Blood Drive Organizers about how the STEM grant could be spent on campus!
