Last week, Saint George’s seventh graders traded their regular classroom routine for an unforgettable experience at Camp Spalding, northeast of Spokane. Over several days, students participated in activities designed to strengthen communication, cooperation and trust.
Their adventures included team kayaking challenges, fly fishing, swimming and navigating rock-climbing and balance courses in the forest overlooking camp. Each activity encouraged students to support one another, step outside their comfort zones and grow as a team. By the end of the trip, the seventh graders had built stronger relationships and returned to school with greater confidence and a renewed sense of community.
Great work 7th grade!
