Congratulations to Annie Sawyer and Kalea Schlenker, who won the State 2B Girls Tennis Doubles championship match at Yakima on May 27. The girls won 6-1, 6-4 in the finals, which earned the SGS Girls Team 4th place overall. On the boys side, Robert DeForest ran into tough competition, but the pair of Pelayo Zalba Montes and Gabin Joly went 2-2 in their matches to earn a 6th place trophy in boys doubles at State. A strong finish to the 2023 tennis season!
