PSAT Testing Oct. 11 for Grades 8-11

The PSAT is coming up on Wednesday, October 11 and all students have successfully completing their digital readiness testing and exam set up. SGS will have a normal school start time of 8:20am and should finish testing by 11:30am before moving onto an Octoberfest lunch and Field Day activities in the afternoon. We recommend students get a good night’s sleep the night before and eat a nutritious breakfast that morning. All students need to bring their fully charged devices with them.

Eighth grade students will be testing in the Dragon Room, while students in grades 9-11 will be testing in Upper School classrooms. Before test day, Upper School students can find their room assignments posted in the courtyard. All students should report to their assigned room when they get to school on Wednesday, so testing can begin and end on time.

Please review the important details in College Counselor Happy Avery’s email to parents regarding what to bring, what not to bring, and how to access results. NOTE: Students will need to leave their phones, bags, snacks, water bottles, etc., outside of their testing room in the hallway or at their locker. There will be one 10-minute break during the test for drinks/snacks/restroom.
