Although Saint George’s did not participate as a school in the EWMEA Solo & Ensemble Festival due to COVID, several students competed as individuals. Ninth-grader Oliver Ling placed 2nd runner-up in the piano division. He performed “Songs Without Words”, a series of short lyrical piano songs by the Romantic composer Felix Mendelssohn.
