Why Giving Matters

When you give back to the school through your generous donations, you don’t only only support programming, excellent teachers and a continuing legacy of top-notch private education. Your participation also shows our community that you believe in the SGS experience and the impact it has on our students and alumni’s future. It acknowledges the confidence and belief donors have in our school and mission.

One of Saint George’s greatest joys is to see our students and alumni find success and achievement in fields they are passionate about. We have heard many times how students and alumni attribute their success to their SGS education and emphasize the impact it had on their approach to learning and life.

As a tuition driven school, Saint George’s is sustained by a pay it forward concept. We understand and respect that every family has different capacity of available giving. Saint George’s is grateful for your continued support at whatever level you can donate. Your gifts ultimately support the students and our mission of inspiring scholars, athletes, and artists to serve and lead others.

We believe that education is one of the most important factors for success in the future. SGS has a solid educational curriculum and a proven track record for making available to students and their families the keys to educational and future success. The curriculum is well rounded in providing rigorous academics in addition to many opportunities in the arts and athletics, while being able to individualize the experience for each child. We considered many different opportunities in the region and SGS stood out as exemplary in all facets of education. Our child is very happy in the SGS community. We are also enjoying being part of SGS and supporting their vision for the future.

SGS is a place where my children are all known and loved. They are seen as individuals and the teachers support and challenge them to achieve their highest potential. As an alum, I have seen and felt the benefit of our supportive, innovative environment and it set me on my journey as a life-long learner.

We give to Saint George’s to honor the educators and staff that are such a huge part of the overall development and well-being of our two boys, and all children for that matter. We come from and currently are a family of educators as well, so for us we directly know the impact educators have on our boys. For us, it is a matter of showing appreciation back to a community (Saint George’s) that gives us so much.
