Sign Up for All-School Talent Show by Jan. 19

The annual SGS All-School Talent Show is coming to Founders Theater on Thursday, January 26 at 6pm. Any students interested in performing need to fill out the Talent Show Entry Form no later than Jan. 19. The show will be live-streamed for those who can’t attend. So it’s time for students to get their act together and show everyone what they’ve got!

No Classes on Jan. 16 for MLK Jr. Day

Saint George’s School will not hold classes on Monday, January 16 in honor of Martin Luther King Jr’s Birthday. Find a way to be of service to others that day!

Friday, Jan. 13 Is Lower School Basketball Night!

Lower School Basketball Night this Friday, January 13th will feature a 4:00-5:30pm Indoor Dragon Tailgate Rally with food and activities for everyone (in ESAC or the Dragons Den under Metters or both locations). Spirit activities will include face painting, poster making, spirit gear for sale and music. Food from Chick-fill-A, snacks and more!

Then the Little Dragon Cheerleaders will keep the energy up for the SGS girls varsity game vs Lind-Ritzville-Sprague at 6pm, followed by the boys varsity game at 7:30pm. Come and show your Dragon Spirit!

“Power the Dragon” Annual Fund Reaches 70% of Goal

Thanks to some generous end-of-year donations, the “Power the Dragon” Annual Fund has reached 70% of its $190,000 goal. Parent participation is also up to 48%, with the 5th grade class at 72%! Here are the current totals by grade as of Jan. 3, 2023:

Annual Fund goals include 100% parent participation and $190,000+ in gifts and donations. Please make a donation today to help reach 100% participation for your child’s class! Gifts can be made on the SGS Website or by check or cash to the Business Office. Go Dragons!

Seniors Help Kindergarten Decorate Cookies

The seven seniors who started at SGS in Kindergarten returned to their old classroom on Dec. 14 to help the current Kindergarteners decorate holiday cookies. See a Photo Gallery of them decorating and a Short Video from that activity. It’s amazing to think these seniors were once that small!
