Ceramics Class Paints & Fires Clay Magnets Highlighting Washington State

Earlier this fall, the Upper School ceramics class painted and fired clay disks featuring images representative of Washington State. After adding magnets to the back of each, they have been on display in the Art Gallery (look between the windows facing out to the Upper School). See photo galleries of the process of Painting the Magnets and the resulting Colorful Ceramic Magnets on display. In December, the magnets will be part of a nationwide magnet exchange with over 120 high schools across the U.S. In the spring, SGS will receive over 120 magnets representing all different parts of the country!
