Increase test scores! Learn proven test-taking strategies with an experienced SAT instructor. The course includes 24 hours of instruction and 2 full-length timed practice tests as well as a review of math skills, grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension and essay writing. Students will be preparing for the June 2nd test date. Current SGS seniors who didn’t take this class averaged a 50 point increase from their PSAT scores to their SAT scores (that’s good). Current SGS students who took the class averaged over a 110 point increase (that’s better). Financial aid may be available; contact Jamie Tender for details.
This class is targeted for 11th graders (aiming to then take the June 2nd SAT I) or 9th & 10th grade (trying to boost their PSAT scores this fall).
Class will need a minimum of 5 students to function. Open to non-SGS students, although SGS students will be given priority.
