After consulting with the administration at Northwest Christian, and continued conversations with Spokane Regional Health District and the local Officials Association, Saint George’s has decided to cancel the Battle for the Holy Grail spirit contest at the January 27 basketball games at NWC. The basketball games are still scheduled to take place on the 27th at NWC. NOTE: More information will be forthcoming about t-shirt refunds.
Last week, the SRHD recommended cancelling large gatherings during the height of the Omicron variant’s local impact. In response, the Greater Spokane League cancelled the spirit contests that many high schools hold annually.
