Last week during 8th Grade Theme Day, students spent a morning reading books they had written and illustrated to children at Green Gables Learning Center, delighting the little listeners with original stories. In the afternoon they visited the Veterans Home, where lively conversations and a few rounds of BINGO brought smiles and meaningful connections across generations. The day’s intergenerational service highlighted compassion, creativity, and community spirit—truly lighting up the day for both the tiniest and the wisest.
