8th Grade Builds Empathy and Connections

The 8th graders spent a day building empathy and connections with Generations Alive on June 6. First they compiled plastic bag kits for local homeless people. Then they took a tour of the city with stops in the West Central neighborhood, an overview of downtown from Cliff Drive, learning from homeless advocates at Mosaic Church, lunch in a field next to Camp Hope, a visit to Blessings, and return to school. See photo galleries of them Packing Homeless Kits and on their Tour of the City.
