The 5th grade students visited 2nd Harvest Food Bank, where they shoveled rice out of a 2,000 lbs. bag so they could fill and seal 2 lbs. bags for distribution to local families. See a Photo Gallery of the class filling up 14 boxes, each with 16 bags of rice, for a total of 448 lbs. of rice!
