Once a month, our 5th-grade students come together for team-building activities designed to strengthen classroom bonds, build trust, and teach leadership and life skills. This month, teacher Melanie Mildrew guided the class through a blindfolded partner challenge. Blindfolded students relied on their partners’ clear guidance to navigate an obstacle course, practicing communication, responsibility, and attentive listening.
The room buzzed with excitement—smiles, high fives, and encouraging words followed each successful run. The activity reinforced teamwork while offering students practical experience leading and supporting one another. Great job, 5th grade!
